Sunset at Arizona Beach

Arizona Beach is on the Oregon Coast near the town of Port Orford. The rugged landscape that juts into the ocean north and south of the beach protect it from the Northwest Pacific winds much of the time, making it much warmer and often drier than beaches to the north and the south.
This photograph of the sunset was taken in June 2023. We were camped there for a week, and the weather was amazingly clear, warm, and sunny the whole time we were there. If you've spent much time on the Oregon coast, you probably know this is somewhat unusual.
