Misty Morning

Arizona Beach is on the Oregon Coast near the town of Port Orford. The rugged landscape that juts into the ocean north and south of the beach protect it from the Northwest Pacific winds much of the time, making it much warmer and often drier than beaches to the north and the south.
This photograph of the beach was taken on a foggy morning in June 2023. The morning fog often gives way to a glorious, sunny day, as happened this day. Still, the fog creates a nice, dreamy scene that's perfect for a walk on the beach with a steaming hot cup of coffee.
