Driftwood Sunset

Arizona Beach is on the Oregon Coast near the town of Port Orford. The rugged landscape that juts into the ocean north and south of the beach protect it from the Northwest Pacific winds much of the time, making it much warmer, and often much drier, than beaches to the north and the south.
This photograph of the sunset was taken in June 2023 from Arizona Beach, just after I noticed a piece of driftwood with the sun peeking through its outstretched woody fingers.
